VV Editions is a group of digital works released in 2021, each with its own edition terms. The studio list includes Epiphany, Duplicate, Hierarchy, Merge VV, 100 Meals, Don't Trust, Check., Signed and Humanity Check.
The common thread is the edition itself, what a release structure says about an image that anyone can copy.
The works are in the Visualize Value style, spare black-and-white diagrams and short texts. Several have fixed, announced sizes. 100 Meals and Humanity Check were issued as infinite editions. Signed comes back in the 2023 notes for Signature, where a handwritten signature is set against a coded mark.
Joseph Beuys made hundreds of multiples, felt suits, postcards and wooden boxes, and called them vehicles for spreading ideas. He saw the edition as a way to reach people, and scarcity had nothing to do with it. Walter Benjamin had already argued that reproduction changes what a work is for. VV Editions takes the same position on a blockchain. The size of an edition is part of the meaning, from one numbered copy to an open-ended supply.

The studio catalogue names Epiphany, Duplicate, Hierarchy, Merge VV, 100 Meals, Don't Trust, Check. , Signed and Humanity Check.
The preserved studio record gives announced sizes for several works and calls 100 Meals and Humanity Check infinite editions.
The December 2023 Signature notes return to Signed, contrasting handwritten signatures with marks produced by a coded system. This documents an explicit connection between two works without assuming that all editions share the same rules.2,1
The same file, a different release
An edition attaches a distribution structure to an image that can be copied. Comparing works here means asking what an edition permits, how long it remains open and what its title proposes about the count. A finite supply alone does not establish artistic value.
The collection title does not imply that every holder can change a work.
