BALANCE · PRIVACY POLICY
Updated October 19, 2026.
Scope
This policy explains how the BALANCE interface on jack.art handles information when you browse, connect a wallet or use artwork conversion. It does not cover independent services such as Uniswap, your wallet provider or marketplaces.
Information used
Our hosting and security providers process your IP address, approximate country and region, browser and request information to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and apply access restrictions. Connecting a wallet shares its public address with the interface. Requests to blockchain infrastructure may include that address, contract addresses, token IDs and transaction hashes.
We never need your private keys or recovery phrase. Do not send them to us.
Wallet screening and access checks
Before the interface requests a mainnet conversion approval or conversion signature, it checks the wallet against digital currency addresses published on OFAC’s sanctions list. The transfer interface also checks the recipient. Your address is sent to our screening endpoint; the endpoint downloads the public list separately, without sending your wallet address to OFAC. If a check fails or is unavailable, the interface stops the action.
IP location is approximate and can be wrong. Screening is an access control, not a guarantee that a person or transaction is legally permitted. These website checks do not change public blockchain records or control independent access to smart contracts.
Why information is processed
We use information to provide requested website functions, display artwork and balances, manage pending transactions, protect the service and apply sanctions-related restrictions. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes include providing the requested service, legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Browser storage
The interface uses browser storage to remember wallet choices, participation acknowledgements and pending transaction information. This may include a public wallet address and transaction hash. You can clear this storage in your browser. Clearing it may remove local preferences or transaction recovery information; it does not undo an onchain transaction or revoke token approvals.
Service providers and sharing
Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. Blockchain RPC providers process blockchain queries. Your wallet provider processes connection and signing requests. Following a link to Uniswap or another service makes that service’s own privacy policy applicable. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users. Providers may process information outside your country.
Public blockchain records
Wallet addresses, balances, transactions and artwork metadata on Ethereum are public and may be copied by anyone. An address can sometimes be linked to your identity. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted or corrected by the website operator.
Retention and security
The screening endpoint does not create a database of submitted wallet addresses. Hosting and infrastructure providers may retain operational and security records under their own settings and policies. Local browser data remains until it expires, is replaced or you clear it. Information needed for support, security or legal obligations may be kept as necessary for those purposes. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can browse without connecting a wallet, disconnect it and clear browser storage. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, object to or restrict processing, or complain to your local privacy regulator. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and do not allow us to erase public blockchain records.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@visualizevalue.com. Include enough information for us to understand your request, but never send a private key or recovery phrase.
