“Work” marks a historic first: the combination of the 750-year-old British Assay ledger with the Ethereum blockchain.
To commemorate this milestone, the Assay Office has, for the first time, granted two official hallmarks to artist Jack Butcher.
This sculptural piece, entirely handmade by Asprey Studio—the private artist studio of the 242-year-old royal silversmith—was two years in development and took over six months to complete.
Conceived and designed by Jack Butcher and co-produced with Martin Klipp of Beyond Art Creative, “Work” is available by application only through Asprey Studio.
